We're all going on a Summer holiday

After an unnsuccesful attempt to finish the 4 Seasons EP Cart's and Lex have decided to go holiday. The demos they recorded were OK, but felt a bit boring when played back. Therefore in order to attempt to recharge their creative batteries the boys have decided to take a bit of a break for the summer.

As the more adventurous one, Lex has decided to return to his home land of Dorset to study the lost musical art of Myxolodian. Locking himself away in a secret monastry just outside Cerne Abbas, he will be subjected to daily lessons on musical theory, advanced noodling and anything up 7 hours a day of praactising his chordal arts. Once night has fallen he will be forced to listen to Pat Metheny albums until his ears bleed and his fingers somehow manage to comprehend this most complicated of musical mehtodology. After that he might pop in and see his Mum and Dad if he gets time.

Carts, on the hand, is something more of a traditionalist and so has decided to join his parents on a tour of the east Somerset Cider and folk festivals. Packing his mandolin, a neckerchief and an extra big flaggon of home brew cider he has claimed it will be a mixture of Summer Holiday, the Partridge Family and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas - let's just hope that doesn't mean he comes back wearing very tight shorts, loving our lord Jesus Christ and, worse of, all liking tennis!

The boys have decided to reconvene in August where, not only will they continue work on the 4 Seasons EP, but must also present an essay (of at least 2 pages) to the each other, entitled, 'What I did over the Summer (and why I mustn't do it again)'.
