I wasn’t going to write this but…

… I know it's still early (relatively speaking) but I’d decided that I wasn’t going to update the Balustrade blog this evening, opting instead for an early night with The Vikings, staring Kirk Douglas and E.Borgnine. On DVD, not in a strange norse-sixities-throughback-menage-a-tois-esque-thing. But I am/have have written this instead… yeah… because on the way home from the Alpine Studios this evening I had the very great pleasure of Balustrade coming in my ears! That’s right folks… (a) I’ve been watching too much Phoenix Nights recently (Can you get too much Phoenix Nights?) and (b) Four Seasons – the new EP by Balustrade – is FINISHED!! We’ve managed to get it sorted and it’s top.

So, How do I get my filthy, filthy hands on a copy? Well well well, it’s very simple really. SEND US SOME STUFF YOU THINK WE’LL LIKE. Lex and I like lots of things. Send us something cool, unique or cash-based and we’ll send you a copy of the ep in return. Two fifty-pence pieces sellotaped to a bit of card would be great, as would a nice hand-made card with a genuine £50 note, or something that will make us laugh. We’re not fussy.

We’ll leave it up to your imaginations. NB: No, Neil. We don’t want that. We know what you’re thinking but it isn’t funny. It smells.

PS: This is actually a good record. We both like it and it doesn’t suck.
